SharjMap (sarjmap.org) is the discovery layer for Azerbaijan's growing electric-vehicle infrastructure. Burncode built the public map and routing experience for drivers, alongside the operator-facing console for charging station owners to keep listings, availability, and pricing up to date.
What we built
- Interactive map with real-time station status — available / occupied / out-of-order.
- Filter by connector type (Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO), power output (kW), and provider network.
- Route planning with charging stops along the way for long-distance EV trips.
- Driver ratings & reviews for every station, plus photo uploads.
- Operator console for station owners to update pricing, hours, and downtime in real time.
- Multi-language: Azerbaijani, English, Russian.
Civic impact
SharjMap is operated as a non-profit (.org) — the goal is to accelerate EV adoption in Azerbaijan by removing the "where will I charge?" anxiety that keeps drivers on petrol.
